LIFEGUARDS Concord Parks & Rec Help us fundraise to build a New Skate Park We are excited to share with you our plans to build a new skate park at Kiwanis Riverfront Park. The existing skate park, built in 1994, has served us well but is now in need of an upgrade. Over the past few years, we have been collaborating with local users and the Concord Skate Park Association to design a new, state-of-the-art facility. The new skate park will be constructed in two phases, with the first phase estimated to cost $1 million and the second phase requiring an additional $800,000. We are thrilled to inform you that the City has secured a $500,000 Land and Water Conservation Grant for this project. However, this grant necessitates a local match of $500,000. To meet this matching fund requirement, we are seeking support from individuals and organizations. If you are interested in contributing, donations can be made directly to the Parks and Recreation Department or to the Skate Park Association. More information on the project is online at: https://concordnh.gov/1920/Kiwanis-Park-and-Skate-Park.
